Andrew and Hannah were married on a lovely June day.
I feel very lucky that pesky rain decided to roll in right after we were done with photos.
Firstly, I have to say that I loved the champagne color of Hannah’s wedding dress. It was absolutely stunning. In addition to her dress, the flowers were very colorful and vibrant, I could not stop taking pictures of them.
Their wedding ceremony at CrossRoads Church and incredibly beautiful, and they had tons of family and friends with them all day!
The reception was held at The Cheat Lake Firehall and it was so very well decorated with candles, linens, centerpieces and flowers.
I especially loved that we took most of the photos after the reception at Cheat Lake Park.
It is very rare to get to do the entire shoot during golden hour on the actual wedding day. Consequently, we felt very lucky the rain did not come one hour sooner. It started raining literally 10 minutes after we were done taking photos.
Above all, I was one very happy photographer at the end of the day. We did get a few night shots with my Profoto lights. Got to know how to light any situation in a pinch!
Guests enjoyed the evening inside of the Cheat Lake Firehall, with food provided by Myers Catering. Flowers on each of the tables added a special touch.
Working with Andrew and Hannah was a pleasure. Their families were wonderful as well – everything I hope for on a wedding day! A special thank you to her sisters for helping with that long veil.
